I'm an Icelandic product designer, based in Amsterdam. Since I graduated I've expanded my work experience by working as an intern at two very different studios; one located in Malmo, Sweden and one in Amsterdam, Netherlands. I have nearly 3 years of experience as a freelance designer, working as an industrial, product and graphic designer.
It is extremely important to me to face new challenges through my work, learning to solve problems, meeting client requests and while working on my projects, I try to be true to my artistic and asthetic approach.
My goal when I start to work on projects is that I want to focus on simple solutions that speak clearly to the consumer, and my main goal is to design products that age well, having sustainability and environmental effects in mind.
